Carlisle Support Services is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and dedicated individuals to join our team, working with our prestigious client, Burnley FC. It is not a full‑time role – colleagues have the flexibility to choose and book their own shifts for home games or ad‑hoc events at the stadium. Football and events take place evenings and weekends only. Your core role will be to ensure the safety and security of everyone in Turf Moor; this could include, but is not limited to:
- Provide general guidance to the public
- Conduct person and bag searching
- Support the stadium to adhere to its licensing conditions and safety certificate
- Direct spectators and monitor crowds
- Respond to security or crowd management issues
Requirements
- SIA Door Supervision licence – Required
- 5 years checkable work and address history
- Reliable, punctual, flexible and smart in appearance
- Friendly, approachable and always professional
- Enthusiastic and motivated to do a great job
- Ideally some experience in an events environment or a customer care role
- Able to interact with clients and customers in a positive manner
- Level 2 certificate in Spectator Safety, or willingness to obtain the qualification (this will be a requirement if hired, but we will fund this for you)
- Willingness to work at other Carlisle events venues across the region (desirable)
Screening and Vetting
Successful candidates will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes. The required documents include:
- Passport
- Driving licence
- Utility bill dated in the last 3 months
- HMRC letter
- Original bank statement
- Original payslip
- Birth certificate or a valid share code
