Join to apply for the Bathroom Attendant/ Caretaker role at Carlisle Support Services. This position is part of our Project Support Team and is located in Crewe.

Location: Crewe, England

Hours: 40 hours per week (hours may vary by location with an average of 36 hours).

Pay: Β£12.60 per hour (paid monthly).

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high standards across facilities including washrooms and other public spaces.
  • Keep all toilets clean, remove litter and spills, maintain tidy floors.
  • Top up all consumables.
  • Use a pump to unblock (training given) if needed.
  • Carry out janitorial duties to the highest specification.
  • Carry out general and specialist cleaning duties in line with the role.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly checked, used, and maintained.
  • Record all work via a handheld device and report issues accurately.
  • Comply with rail safety regulations and internal procedures.
  • Remain flexible with working hours and willingness to travel.
  • Sweep floors in waiting rooms and entrances.
  • Empty bins and remove waste.

Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Willing to learn and develop.
  • Reliable, flexible, and professional appearance.
  • Enthusiastic and motivated to do a great job.
  • Preferably some experience working within a cleaning environment and as part of a team.
  • Effective people skills, able to interact with clients and customers positively.
  • Willing to work in all weather conditions.
  • Driving licence (not required for all roles).
