The role

Carlisle Support Services is looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and dedicated individuals to join our team, working with our prestigious clients.

Variable 5 days over 7 between hours of 0600 and 0000 (9 hour shifts- 45 hours per week- 1 hour unpaid break per shift (40 Hours paid per week)

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct undercover surveillance to identify and prevent theft, fraud, and other criminal activities within the store.
  • Maintain a highly visible presence to deter potential offenders.
  • Monitor CCTV systems to identify suspicious behaviour and incidents.
  • Detain and interview individuals suspected of theft or wrongdoing, adhering to company policies and legal requirements.
  • Compile detailed reports and evidence, and confidently present findings to clients.
  • Collaborate with store management and law enforcement as necessary.
  • Assist with inventory audits and security assessments.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.
  • The ideal candidate
  • At least 18 years old - a legal requirement to work in a front-line licensable activity
  • SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence (Essential)
  • Access to own Vehicle (desirable)
  • Previous retail security experience is an advantage, particularly in customer-facing environments
  • Experience within a security environment is desirable
  • Strong communication and computer literacy
  • 5 years checkable work and address history
  • Reliable, punctual, flexible, and smart in appearance
  • Friendly, approachable, and always professional
  • Enthusiastic and motivated to do a great job
  • Ideally some experience within a Security environment or a customer facing role
  • Able to interact with clients and customers in a positive manner
  • Some experience working within a Security environment and working as part of a team
  • Effective people skills, able to interact with clients and customers in a positive manner
  • Successful candidates will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes.
  • This could include the following: passport / driving licence / utility bill dated in the last 3 months / HMRC letter / original bank statement / original payslip / birth certificate / a valid share code.
