Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to take ownership of all quality assurance and food safety activities, reporting directly to the Head of Production. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated quality professional to lead and shape the site's quality strategy. The successful candidate will be empowered to take full ownership of the quality roadmap, with the full support and collaboration of the leadership team to drive continuous improvement and achieve operational excellence.
A key focus of the role will be the implementation and maintenance of robust HACCP systems, risk assessments, quality management documentation, and food safety procedures. The successful candidate will lead the site through the development and implementation of the systems and controls required to achieve and maintain BRCGS certification, ensuring compliance with all relevant food safety legislation, customer standards, and industry best practice.

Qualifications:
- Science-based qualification (food science, microbiology or similar), or equivalent experience
- HACCP Level 3 and Food Safety Level 3 or 4
- Experience of BRCGS or another GFSI-recognised standard
