My client, a global executive search firm with an HQ in Central London, is looking to grow its Corporate Development / M&A team by hiring a Consultant to deliver work into Private Equity portfolio clients. This is a growing, global firm with an inspirational Practice Director that has a track record of developing high potential search professionals into Consultants that earn exceptionally.

Working within a candidate centric, retained assignment environment, this role is fundamentally key to the success of the team. On a day to day basis you will continually develop an understanding of the competitive landscape in which clients operate, assist in pitching for and winning retained mandates and grow your network in a focused and methodical fashion.

You will have experience working in a retained environment, ideally partnering and delivering into Corporate clients. Experience working directly with Private Equity firms and having an understanding of the challenges clients face going through Corporate M&As will be a clear advantage.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver work into Private Equity portfolio clients within a retained assignment environment.
  • Develop an understanding of the competitive landscape in which clients operate.
  • Assist in pitching for and winning retained mandates.
  • Grow your network in a focused and methodical fashion.
  • Work with Corporate clients in a retained search setting and partner with stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Experience in a retained search environment.
  • Experience partnering and delivering into Corporate clients.
  • Experience directly with Private Equity firms is advantageous.
  • Understanding of challenges clients face during Corporate M&A.
