The Senior Program and Strategy Manager, Consumer Eyecare combines rigorous program governance with strategic business development. This individual leads the full lifecycle of program execution, aligning cross‑functional teams and external partners to deliver a global Consumer Eyecare launch on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.

Program Governance & Execution Responsibilities

  • Own end‑to‑end program governance, including the integrated timeline and critical path across Global, US, and China regions.
  • Facilitate decision‑making through stage‑gate readiness, clear escalation, and strategic reporting, grounded in evidence.
  • Align internal functions and external partners to meet schedule, budget, and compliance objectives.
  • Shape Consumer Eyecare’s future direction by contributing to long‑term strategy development.

Strategy and Business Development Responsibilities

  • Lead market analysis for new market expansion, assessing sizing, competition, regulatory barriers, and go/no‑go decisions.
  • Develop and support business cases with Finance, Commercial, and Regional teams, including revenue projections, cost modeling, and ROI.
  • Perform ad‑hoc data analysis and insight generation to respond to leadership requests.
  • Contribute to long‑term strategy development and competitive positioning.
  • Monitor competitive and market intelligence, and brief leadership on trends and regulatory changes.
  • Prepare materials for Board reviews, investment committees, and strategic planning sessions.

Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of combined experience in program/project management, strategy, consulting, or business development, ideally in Healthcare, MedTech, or related industries.
  • Proven track record delivering multi‑country product launches and large‑scale programs with measurable outcomes.
  • Strong governance and execution skills: integrated planning, RAID discipline, action management, escalation, and executive‑ready reporting.
  • Experience conducting market analysis, building business cases, and providing strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Ability to drive accountability and manage stakeholders across functions, regions, and seniority levels.
  • Strong dependency management and structured problem‑solving, translating ambiguity into executable plans.
  • Advanced proficiency with project management and reporting tools such as Smartsheet or MS Project, and advanced MS PowerPoint/Excel.
  • High‑quality written and verbal communication, synthesizing complex inputs into clear management narratives.
  • Comfortable operating across time zones and cultures, with ownership mindset and resilience under pressure.
