Carl Hansen & Søn is seeking a dynamic and motivated Contract Sales Manager to join our growing London team. Based at our Bowling Green Lane showroom in Clerkenwell, you’ll be instrumental in expanding and nurturing our presence in the UK & Ireland contract market.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a minimum of two years’ experience in a sales-driven role within the design or furniture industry. A passion for design, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a proactive mindset are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Representing and presenting the Carl Hansen & Søn brand to architects, interior designers, and specifiers
  • Managing and supporting a portfolio of dealer accounts to an exceptional standard
  • Generating leads, building a strong pipeline, and meeting annual sales targets
  • Organising and hosting regular events and showroom activities in Clerkenwell
  • Creating high-quality sales presentations and marketing materials using PowerPoint
  • Attending key trade shows across Europe
  • Accompanying clients on visits to our production facility in Denmark

About You

  • A confident communicator with excellent presentation, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about design, architecture, and premium furniture
  • Brings a strong, credible network within the UK A&D community, particularly across the interior design, architecture, and hospitality sectors
  • Self-driven with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and attention to detail
  • Fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and confident in creating compelling presentations
  • Based in London, with the ability to travel throughout the UK, Ireland, and occasionally Europe
