Carizmo, a fast‑growing Car Dealership, is seeking a Vehicle Preparation Specialist to join our expanding team in Manchester. This role is partially hybrid but requires regular on‑site presence to support vehicle operations and team coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Vehicle Inspection: Perform regular inspections of all vehicles in stock, verify vehicle specifications and service history, record and maintain accurate inspection data.
- Vehicle Preparation: Support full reconditioning of vehicles to ensure they are sale ready, assist with valeting and minor mechanical maintenance where required, ensure vehicles are presented to a high retail standard.
- Cleaning & Stocking: Liaise with valeting and reconditioning team to ensure all vehicles are clean, organised, and stocked with required equipment, maintain interior and exterior presentation standards.
- Logistics & Administration: Check in vehicles arriving into stock, source and order parts as needed, manage vehicle movements to/from bodyshops, mechanics, and MOT stations, book collections and deliveries, update IT systems, manage documentation, and photograph vehicles for marketing.
- Communication: Liaise professionally with transporters, drivers, suppliers, and internal teams, resolve operational issues promptly to ensure smooth workflow.
- Quality Control: Ensure all preparation work meets Carizmo’s standards of quality, safety, and presentation.
Requirements
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Previous automotive or vehicle preparation experience (advantageous).
- High attention to detail and proactive work ethic.
