We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Social Worker to join our Locality Safeguarding Team in Worcestershire. In this vital role, you will work collaboratively with families and individuals to promote their well-being and ensure their safety. You will be responsible for assessing needs, developing care plans, and implementing safeguarding procedures to protect vulnerable individuals from harm. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of those within our community.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments and reviews of service users’ needs.
- Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in partnership with service users and their families.
- Ensuring compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to coordinate support services.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with legal and organizational standards.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience in safeguarding and working with vulnerable populations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with service users.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
