We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team in Wolverhampton. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional to make a significant impact in the lives of vulnerable children and families within our community. As a Social Worker in the MASH Team, you will work collaboratively with various agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of children at risk.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting initial assessments and risk evaluations for children and families referred to the MASH.
- Collaborating with partner agencies to gather and analyze information, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each case.
- Developing and implementing effective intervention plans to support families in need.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local and national standards.
- Participating in strategy meetings and contributing to safeguarding decisions.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience in child protection and safeguarding, preferably within a multi-agency environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and professionals.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
