We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Mental Health Team in Westminster, offering a competitive rate of £34 per hour on an Umbrella basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals facing mental health challenges. As part of a collaborative team, you will play a key role in assessing needs, developing care plans, and providing support to service users and their families.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of service users' mental health needs.
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with service users and multidisciplinary teams.
- Providing ongoing support and intervention to service users, ensuring their rights and dignity are upheld.
- Monitoring and reviewing care plans, adjusting as necessary based on service users' progress.
- Engaging with external agencies and stakeholders to facilitate holistic support for service users.
- Supervising and mentoring junior social workers and support staff.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A valid Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Significant experience in mental health social work within a statutory setting.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with a solid understanding of mental health legislation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with diverse service users.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
