Two exciting new perm opportunities for Children's social workers (Support & Protect and Families First) at Trafford.
Support & Protect Social Workers: Trafford are in need of permanent social workers for the Support & Protection Service across Altrincham, Stretford and Sale. Candidates need to have 3 years experience. Support and Protection is a dedicated service area which works with children when they have escalated to Child Protection or when Care Proceedings have been initiated. We focus on the longer term and complex work with families and young people. Across the service area, we work in partnership with families and multi-agency partners to protect children and to deliver sustainable work to enable children to live safely with their families wherever possible. Salary £37,280 - £42,839.
Families First Social Workers: Trafford are in need of social workers for the Families First service; candidates must have 3 years experience. Families First conducts all assessment and duty work, as well as supporting families through the Child in Need process. There are four locality teams within Families First which include North, West, South, and Central. Salary £37,280 - £42,839.
Benefits & Rewards: In addition, a market factor supplement is paid to Band 8 level 3 social workers of £2400 per annum. Candidates need to be able to drive and an enhanced DBS check with children’s barred list will be processed. We have a car park scheme which is salary sacrifice. The cost would be £28.50 per month. We also reimburse Social Work England costs.
