We Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our team in Swindon, specializing in supporting children and families in need. As a Social Worker with We Care, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of vulnerable children, helping them to thrive in a supportive environment. Your expertise will contribute to the development and implementation of tailored care plans, ensuring that each child's unique needs are met.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families.
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to families to promote positive outcomes.
  • Working closely with schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations to coordinate services.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding initiatives.

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Experience working with children and families in a social work setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
