Children's SW - Assessment & Child Protection Team - Swindon

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Assessment & Child Protection Team in Swindon. This role provides an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families, ensuring their safety and well-being. As a vital member of our team, you will conduct assessments, develop care plans, and work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard children at risk.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
• Developing and implementing effective intervention plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
• Attending court proceedings and providing expert testimony as required.
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of services.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

• A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
• Registration with Social Work England.
• Proven experience in child protection and assessment within a statutory setting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage a diverse caseload effectively.
