Working pattern
- This role offers a structured hybrid model with a clear office requirement:
- Duty week: 5 days in the office
- Duty week is every 5 weeks
- Non-duty weeks: 3 days in the office
What you'll be doing
- Complete high-quality child and family assessments
- Hold and manage complex cases confidently and independently
- Assess and manage risk at a high level
- Produce strong, timely and defensible assessments and reports
- Contribute expertly to strategy discussions, safeguarding decisions and case conferences
- Work closely with partner agencies and senior professionals
- Model excellent practice and support less experienced colleagues where needed
What we need from you
This is a role for a capable, resilient and highly effective practitioner. To be considered, you must have:
- At least 3 years' post-qualified experience
- 3 years' PQE gained in a permanent setting
- Experience in a Children's Assessment Social Work role
- Must be a car driver
- A recognised Social Work qualification
- Social Work England registration
