Caritas Recruitment is supporting Cafcass with two temporary Family Court Adviser (FCA) vacancies within the Public & Private Law Team, covering Swindon and Wiltshire.
About the Role:
You will undertake early safeguarding enquiries, provide child protection advice, complete direct work with children, and produce high-quality assessments and analysis to inform the Family Court on children's needs and best interests. Court experience is essential.
Key Details:
- £37.75 per hour
- 37 hours per week
- Monthly office attendance & weekly virtual meetings
- Mixed remote/office-based induction
Essential Criteria:
- SWE Registration
- Enhanced DBS within 12 months via agency
- Social Work qualification
- Full UK driving licence
- Full Right to Work in the UK (no sponsorship)
Desirable:
- 3+ years' post-qualifying experience
- Experience in safeguarding enquiries, direct work & court reporting
