Are you a dedicated and compassionate social worker with a passion for safeguarding vulnerable adults? We are currently seeking an Adult Social Worker specializing in Safeguarding to join our dynamic team in Swindon. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for assessing and managing risks to ensure the safety and well-being of adults at risk, while promoting their rights and independence.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of individuals' needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with service users and their families.
  • Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies to coordinate support services.
  • Providing expert advice and support to colleagues and stakeholders on safeguarding matters.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with legal and organizational standards.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A relevant social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in adult safeguarding and social work practice.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a commitment to person-centered approaches.
