We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Specialist Domestic Abuse Support Worker based in Bexhill-on-Sea. Role Overview: As a Specialist Domestic Abuse Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting victims and survivors of domestic violence and abuse. You will work 12-hour shifts on a 4 days on, 4 days off rota, providing ongoing risk assessments, individual safety planning, and both emotional and practical support to those in need. Key Responsibilities: Demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of safeguarding vulnerable people. Work with high-risk clients to ensure their safety and well-being. Conduct thorough risk and needs assessments. Collaborate with multiple agencies to provide comprehensive support. Assist vulnerable adults affected by domestic abuse, substance misuse, sexual abuse, housing issues, mental health challenges, homelessness, or those who are ex-offenders.Essential Requirements: A current DBS on the update service, or willingness to undergo one. A deep commitment to the well-being and safety of vulnerable individuals.
