Social Worker - Family Support & Protection Team - Tower Hamlets

In this dynamic role, you will work collaboratively with families to assess their needs, provide support, and implement strategies aimed at safeguarding children and enhancing family resilience.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of family situations and risks.
• Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
• Providing direct support and interventions to families in crisis.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
• Participating in multi-agency meetings to ensure a coordinated approach to family support.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
• Registration with Social Work England.
• Experience working with children and families, particularly in a safeguarding context.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and assessment skills.
• The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
