In this role, you will work collaboratively with families to provide support, guidance, and resources to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
Your expertise will be essential in creating positive, lasting change for children and their families within our community.
- As a Social Worker on the Family Help Team, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting assessments to identify the needs of families and children.
- Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans to support families in crisis.
- Providing ongoing support and advocacy for families to access necessary services and resources.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of casework and progress.
- The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e. g., Degree in Social Work or equivalent).
- Registration with the relevant social work regulatory body.
- Strong understanding of child protection legislation and family support services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and manage a caseload independently.
