We are supporting Staffordshire County Council (SCC) with a recruitment campaign to cover current vacancies and posts impacted by sickness across several teams. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Social Workers to join well-supported services with competitive rates and flexibility for the right candidates.

You will be working within Duty or Assessment (AST) teams, managing a varied caseload and undertaking key statutory responsibilities, including:
- Completing assessments and risk management
- Managing duty responsibilities, including referrals and safeguarding concerns
- Undertaking care planning and reviews
- Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners
- Ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice standards
- Qualified Social Worker (Degree/DipSW/CQSW)
- Registered with Social Work England
- Proven experience in Children's or Adult Services within Duty/Assessment settings
- Strong assessment, safeguarding and case management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced statutory environment
