Join our dedicated team as a Social Worker in the Children with Disabilities Team within the Qualified Social Work field. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children and their families, ensuring they receive the support and resources they need to thrive. You will work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, schools, and external agencies to provide holistic care and support to children with disabilities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and their families.
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with families and professionals.
  • Providing ongoing support and advocacy for children with disabilities, ensuring their voices are heard.
  • Facilitating access to services and resources, including educational support and therapy.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements and organizational policies.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent).
  • Current registration with the relevant social work regulatory body.
  • Proven experience working with children and families, particularly those with disabilities.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and manage a diverse caseload.
