London weighting Contract: Permanent Hours of work: 36 hours per week (3 days in the office/2 days remotely ) Location: Brent Localities: Referral and Assessment – Golden Hello – £5,000 / Retention Payment £4,500 MASH, No Recourse to Public Funds – Golden Hello – £5,000 / Retention Payment £2,500 Disabled Children and Young people (0- 25 years) – Golden Hello – £5,000 / Retention Payment £2,500 LAC – Golden hello payment of £5,000 (payable after 6 months) and annual retention payment of £4,500 Brent Family Front Door/ MASH – social workers in this service are the first point of contact for professionals or members of the public who wish to share information about families with us. They record and gather information, consult with partner agencies, and then make recommendations for the next steps to be taken. Short Term Teams – workers in these teams carry out high quality Child and Family assessments within agreed timescales to inform our plans for children and their families. Long Term Teams – workers in these teams hold caseloads of Children in Need and Child Protection cases. They work closely with families to support and protect children and to ensure that they can fulfil their potential. Disabled Children and Young People Service 0-25 – workers in these teams provide high quality assessments and a wide range of support packages to ensure the best outcomes for disabled young people and their families.
