The Children's SW - CIOC Team in Slough is seeking a committed individual to join our dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with children in care, providing essential support and interventions to promote their welfare and development.

As a key member of our team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families.
  • Developing and implementing care plans that are tailored to individual circumstances.

  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Providing support and guidance to foster carers and adoptive families.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrable experience in children's social work, particularly within a looked-after children context.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the capacity to manage a varied caseload effectively.
