Caritas Recruitment is supporting Cafcass with one remaining FCA vacancy within the Public & Private Law Team, covering Slough, with additional work currently also across Reading and Oxford. Candidate location and preference will be considered in the selection process.
Overview of Duties:The FCA role requires completing safeguarding enquiries, meeting with children and families, producing high-quality assessments and analysis for Court, and advising on children's welfare and best interests. Prior court experience is required.
Role Details:- £37.75 per hour
- 37 hours per week
- Assignment until 31st June 2026
- Monthly office attendance + weekly virtual meetings
- Combined remote/office induction
- SWE Registration
- Enhanced DBS (within 12 months via agency)
- Qualified Social Worker
- Full Right to Work in the UK (no sponsorship)
- Driving licence
- 3 years PQE
- Strong safeguarding, assessment & court reporting background
