In this role, you will play a pivotal part in providing immediate support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges, ensuring they receive the necessary care and guidance to improve their well-being.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
- Providing crisis intervention and support to individuals in distress.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and progress.
- Advocating for clients' rights and connecting them with relevant community resources.
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in mental health settings, preferably within a social work context.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload.
