We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Assessment & Intervention Team in Southwark.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in assessing needs, planning interventions, and delivering high-quality social work services to vulnerable populations.
Key responsibilities and duties include
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans, ensuring the best outcomes for service users.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including health, education, and community services.
- Providing supervision and support to junior social workers and students, fostering their professional development.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, adhering to local policies and statutory requirements.
- Engaging with families and stakeholders to promote positive change and empower service users.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e. g., Degree in Social Work, Dip SW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Significant post-qualifying experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and intervention.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in social work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse groups.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and manage a caseload efficiently.
