We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities Team in Rochdale.

The position offers a competitive rate of £40 per hour, and we are looking for a dedicated professional to fill this Umbrella employment role.
Responsibilities
- Conducting assessments of children with disabilities and their families to determine needs and appropriate services.
- Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families, schools, and other professionals.
- Providing direct support and guidance to children and families, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.
- Managing a caseload of complex cases, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.
- Supervising and mentoring junior social workers, fostering a supportive team environment.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of services for children with disabilities.
Qualifications
- A recognized social work qualification (e. g., Degree in Social Work, Dip SW, or equivalent).
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Significant experience in social work, particularly within children’s services and disability settings.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to manage complex cases effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working collaboratively.
