Join our dedicated Family Safeguarding Team in Surrey as a Social Worker on a maternity cover (MAT Cover) basis, earning £42 per hour (umbrella). This is an exciting opportunity for skilled social workers who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of families and children. You will play a vital role in safeguarding children, providing support and guidance to families in need while working collaboratively with various agencies.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans to address the needs of children and families.
  • Working closely with families to provide support and intervention strategies.
  • Engaging with multi-agency teams to ensure effective safeguarding practices.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
  • Participating in regular supervision and team meetings to enhance service delivery.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a caseload.
