Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing care plans that promote the best interests of children.
- Providing expert advice and guidance to social work practitioners on complex cases.
- Facilitating training and development opportunities for team members.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements.
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW).
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Significant post-qualification experience in child protection and family support.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working collaboratively.
