We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Duty and Assessment Team in Lancashire.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in safeguarding vulnerable individuals and families while ensuring high-quality assessments and interventions.
As a Senior Social Worker, you will be responsible for
- Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify their needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
- Providing expert supervision and guidance to junior social workers and support staff.
- Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.
- Engaging with external agencies to coordinate support services and resources.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A relevant social work qualification (e. g., Degree in Social Work, Dip SW, or equivalent).
- Registered with Social Work England.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a social work setting, specifically in duty and assessment.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures and legislation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
