Senior Practitioner - Social Work Academy - Peterborough £40 p/h umb

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Practitioner to join our Social Work Academy in Peterborough, offering an attractive rate of £40 per hour (umbrella). As a Senior Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality social work services and mentoring junior staff.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing expert guidance and support to social work teams, ensuring the delivery of effective and evidence-based practice.
• Conducting assessments and developing care plans in accordance with statutory requirements and best practices.
• Managing complex cases and ensuring compliance with local authority policies and procedures.
• Leading training sessions and workshops to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

• A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
• Current Social Work England registration.
• A minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience in a social work setting.
• Strong knowledge of legislation and best practices related to social work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
