You will provide supervision and support to a team of social workers, facilitating their professional development while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supervising and mentoring social work staff, providing guidance on case management and intervention strategies.
- Conducting regular case reviews and ensuring that assessments and care plans are thorough and effective.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance service delivery and promote positive outcomes for children and families.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Participating in training and development initiatives to improve team performance and service quality.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
- Registered with the relevant social work regulatory body.
- At least three years of post-qualification experience in social work, with a focus on fostering or child protection.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
