Caritas Recruitment is working in partnership with Cafcass to recruit Agency Family Court Advisers (FCA) to support Public and Private Law teams across the Reading, Oxford and Swindon areas.

The Role
As an Agency FCA, you will:
- Visit and engage with children, ensuring their needs and best interests are central to all work
- Complete assessment and analysis, producing high-quality reports for the Family Court
- Work across Public and Private Law
- Liaise effectively with families, local authorities, and the courts
- Demonstrate confident court experience, including professional written and verbal evidence
Essential Criteria
- Qualified Social Worker
- Registered with Social Work England (SWE)
- Enhanced DBS
- Right to Work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable Criteria
- Minimum 3 years post-qualifying experience
- Strong and recent court experience
- Proven ability in safeguarding, assessment, analysis and report writing
