Join our dedicated team as a Social Worker in the Adult Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) in Oldham.

This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and well‑being of vulnerable adults within our community.

As a Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with various agencies to assess needs, manage risks, and provide support to individuals facing complex challenges.

Your expertise will contribute to safeguarding efforts and enhancing the quality of life for those we serve.

Your key responsibilities will include

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults in need, identifying risks and support requirements.
  • Collaborating with multi‑agency partners to develop effective intervention plans.
  • Providing ongoing support and monitoring for individuals and their families.
  • Documenting casework accurately and maintaining up‑to‑date records in compliance with local policies.
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications and skills:
  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e. g., Degree in Social Work, Dip SW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in adult safeguarding and knowledge of relevant legislation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
