Join our dedicated team as an Advanced Practitioner in the Adult Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) in Oldham.

In this pivotal role, you will play an essential part in safeguarding vulnerable adults, ensuring their well‑being, and promoting their independence.

You will work collaboratively with various agencies to assess needs, develop care plans, and provide expert guidance to support staff and partner organizations.

Your key responsibilities will include

  • Conducting thorough assessments of adult safeguarding cases and determining appropriate interventions.
  • Leading complex case discussions and providing expert advice to colleagues and partner agencies.
  • Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with service users and their families.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practice guidelines in safeguarding.
  • Providing training and mentorship to junior staff and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A relevant professional qualification in Social Work, Nursing, or Occupational Therapy.
  • Extensive experience in adult safeguarding and knowledge of relevant legislation.
  • Strong analytical and decision‑making skills, with the ability to manage complex situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
