We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult's Social Work - Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team in Oldham. This is an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively with various agencies to safeguard vulnerable adults and ensure their well-being. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in assessing needs, developing support plans, and promoting positive outcomes for individuals in the community.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough assessments of adult service users to identify their needs and risks.
- Collaborating with health, housing, and community services to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Providing expert advice and support to individuals and their families, guiding them through available services.
- Maintaining accurate and timely records in accordance with legislation and best practice guidelines.
- Participating in safeguarding meetings and contributing to multi-agency discussions to ensure effective protection for vulnerable adults.
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in adult social work, particularly within safeguarding frameworks.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse individuals and groups.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to promoting best practices in social work.
