As an Adult's Social Worker in the Safeguarding Team, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting assessments to identify the needs and risks faced by vulnerable adults.
- Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with service users and their families.
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including health professionals and community organizations, to ensure comprehensive support.
- Conducting safeguarding investigations in accordance with local and national policies.
- Providing advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders on safeguarding best practices.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Significant experience in adult safeguarding and social work practice.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to service users.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a varied caseload.
