We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Child Protection team in Nottinghamshire.

This role is pivotal in safeguarding children and ensuring their well-being within the community.

As a Social Worker, you will work closely with children, families, and other professionals to assess needs, develop care plans, and provide support to those facing challenges.

Your expertise will help create a safer environment for vulnerable children and empower families to thrive.

Key responsibilities include

  • Conducting assessments of children's needs and risks in various settings.
  • Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Providing direct support and intervention to children and families, ensuring their voices are heard.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely records in compliance with local authority policies.
  • Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e. g., Degree in Social Work, Dip SW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
