Nottingham City - Social Worker - Fostering / SGO Team

Nottingham City is seeking a dedicated and passionate Social Worker to join our Fostering and Special Guardianship Order (SGO) Team. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting assessments and preparing reports for fostering and SGO applications.
• Providing ongoing support and supervision to foster carers and families.
• Developing and implementing care plans in line with statutory requirements.
• Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure holistic support for children.
• Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance professional skills.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

• A recognised social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
• Registered with Social Work England.
• Experience in fostering, child protection, or related fields.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage a diverse caseload.
