We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Child in Care Team in Nottingham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing and supporting children in care, ensuring their safety, well-being, and emotional development.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and their families to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals.
  • Monitoring and reviewing the progress of children in care, ensuring that their needs are met.
  • Providing direct support and guidance to children and their foster families.
  • Working closely with external agencies, schools, and healthcare providers to promote the best outcomes for children.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Experience working with children in care or similar settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
