Join our dynamic Children's Social Work Assessment Team in Nottingham, where your expertise will make a significant difference in the lives of children and families. We are seeking a qualified and passionate Social Worker to support our mission of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in our community. In this role, you will conduct assessments, develop care plans, and work collaboratively with families and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of children's needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing effective care plans in partnership with families.
  • Collaborating with multi-agency teams to provide holistic support.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with local policies.
  • Participating in regular supervision and team meetings to enhance practice.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and intervention.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
