This pivotal role involves working collaboratively with various agencies to ensure the safety and well‑being of vulnerable children and families.
You will be responsible for making informed decisions based on assessments and referrals, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
Key responsibilities and duties include
- Conducting thorough assessments of children and families referred to the MASH.
- Making critical decisions regarding safeguarding and support interventions.
- Collaborating with partner agencies to gather information and develop comprehensive plans.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with local policies and procedures.
- Providing expert advice and support to colleagues and partner agencies as needed.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e. g., CQSW, Dip SW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding practices.
- Strong analytical and decision‑making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi‑agency environment.
