First Response Social Worker | Harrow Children's Services | £39.04 per Hour Caritas Recruitment is proud to be supporting a highly regarded London Local Authority in the recruitment of an experienced Social Worker to join their First Response Team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and skilled practitioner to work within a fast-paced frontline service, making timely decisions that safeguard children and support families at the earliest opportunity. Key Responsibilities: Undertake screening, assessment and triage of referrals received by Children's Services. Complete Child and Family Assessments within statutory timescales. Respond promptly to safeguarding concerns and identify appropriate interventions. Undertake Section 47 enquiries and contribute to Child Protection processes where required. Work collaboratively with partner agencies including schools, health professionals and the police. Produce high-quality assessments, plans and reports. Ensure children's voices are central to all decision-making. Requirements: Social Work England Registration. Qualified Social Worker with experience within Children's Front Door, MASH, Assessment or First Response Services. Sound knowledge of safeguarding legislation and statutory guidance.
