We are currently seeking a passionate professional to join our Assessment & Duty team within Kent, offering a competitive rate of £38 per hour (umbrella). As a Qualified Social Worker in the Assessment & Duty team, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting initial assessments and safeguarding investigations to ensure the safety and well‑being of children.
- Collaborating with families, schools, and other agencies to develop effective support plans.
- Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and follow‑ups.
- Documenting case notes and reports in compliance with local authority policies and procedures.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognised social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
