Bradford Social Services are currently recruiting for a number of experienced Qualified Social Workers for their Children Services. The roles are based in their Child in Care / Permanence Team. These positions will be for a period of 6 months but are likely to be extended.
The Permanence Team is a specialist social work team working with disabled children, young people and their families. The team focuses on finding a permanent solution for the child's upbringing through the following Long-Term Planning Duties:
- Rehabilitation with birth parents
- Finding kinship carers (family and friends)
- Long-term fostering
- Adoption
Caseload is no more than 18 per Social Worker with an open door policy with managers, regular supervision and training offered. Parking is located nearby.
