We are seeking an experienced Social Worker who thrives in a challenging environment and is committed to safeguarding children and adults from exploitation and abuse.
As a Social Worker in the Complex Safeguarding Team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Assessing the needs and risks of children and families, developing tailored intervention plans.
- Working collaboratively with multi‑agency partners to ensure comprehensive support and safeguarding measures.
- Conducting home visits and engaging with families to provide guidance and support.
- Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date case records in compliance with local and national standards.
- Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.
- The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (e. g., Degree in Social Work, Dip SW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Experience in child protection and safeguarding, preferably in a complex safeguarding context.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to working with families.
