Join our dedicated team in Manchester as an Adults Social Worker within the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (Mash Team). This pivotal role involves working collaboratively with various agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and delivering high-quality support to individuals in need. Your expertise will guide interventions that promote independence and safeguard those who are at risk.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults’ needs and risks.
  • Collaborating with health services, housing, and community organizations to develop integrated care plans.
  • Providing advice, support, and advocacy to service users and their families.
  • Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely responses to referrals and safeguarding concerns.
  • Documenting all interactions and interventions in accordance with local policies and procedures.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrable experience in adult social work, particularly in safeguarding and assessment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in adult safeguarding.
