Overview
Part time and reduced hours are available.
We are recruiting for Bradford Social Services for an experienced Qualified Social Worker for the Children with Disabilities Team.
This position is for a period of 6 months but is likely to be extended.
The Children with Disabilities Team is a specialist social work team working with disabled children, young people and their families.
The team covers the full range of statutory duties in the delivery of the service, including work with families on a Child in Need basis, safeguarding concerns, and children in our care.
Early Intervention Social Workers act as the initial point of contact for families with the Team.
Bradford are happy to look at 30 hours over 4 days or 2.5 days a week.
There is parking nearby and the role is hybrid: 3 days in the office and 2 from home.
All visits are face to face.
Regular supervision and a reasonable caseload for the right social worker.

Requirements
- Qualified Social Worker with experience in Children with Disabilities or Child Protection.
- Experience with safeguarding and statutory duties relevant to looked-after children, Child in Need cases, and initial assessments.
- Ability to manage a reasonable caseload with appropriate supervision.
- Experience with Early Intervention services is advantageous.
