NRPF Social Worker | Harrow Children's Services | Up to £39.04 per Hour Caritas Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to join the No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF) Team within a highly regarded London Local Authority. This specialist team plays a vital role in supporting vulnerable children and families with complex immigration and welfare issues, ensuring statutory duties are met and children are safeguarded effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of children and families subject to NRPF legislation.
- Complete Child in Need assessments and develop robust support plans.
- Undertake Human Rights Assessments and eligibility assessments.
- Work closely with Legal Services, Housing, Immigration Services and other partner agencies.
- Ensure all interventions are compliant with relevant legislation and statutory guidance.
- Participate in Child in Need and Child Protection processes where required.
- Maintain accurate case records and prepare reports for court and panel proceedings.
Requirements
- Social Work England Registration.
- Qualified Social Worker with Children's Services experience.
- Knowledge of NRPF legislation, Human Rights Assessments and safeguarding practice.
- Experience working with children and families in complex circumstances.
- Strong analytical and assessment skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-agency environment.
